Administrative procedure – Luxembourg Business Registers

Registration with the Luxembourg Business Registers (former RCS – Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés) is a compulsory step for anyone (natural persons in the case of a sole proprietorship, or legal entities in the case of a company) carrying on an economic activity. By registering, you will obtain a registration number for your company. You will need to file your company’s articles of incorporation.

After registering with the RCS, register for Value Added Tax (VAT) with the Administration de l’enregistrement et des domaines.
