Established as a Social Impact Company (SIS), its mission is to promote financial and social inclusion by enabling people who lack access to traditional bank credit to start or grow their businesses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through a program that combines microloans and support, microlux contributes to the development of a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem in Luxembourg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Microlux relies on a small team of four employees, as well as the dedication of about twenty volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Microlux has also developed a strong network of public, private, nonprofit, and European partners, including BGL BNP Paribas, Foyer, ADA, and the European Investment Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your assignment: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working closely with the Board of Directors and the team, you play a leading role in microlux\u2019s development and growth, and you are responsible for day-to-day management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To further microlux\u2019s growth, you will lead the team through collaborative management, identify new growth opportunities with both entrepreneurs and partners, and engage the Luxembourg ecosystem in microlux\u2019s mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond your professional skills, you share the values of solidarity, inclusion, and respect that microlux upholds. You work to foster a collaborative work environment based on active listening, respect, trust, and the complementary nature of skills within the team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your main responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Actively contribute to defining microlux&#8217;s strategic direction and ensure its implementation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthen existing partnerships and develop new strategic and financial collaborations with public, private, nonprofit, and European stakeholders;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee the day-to-day management of Microlux in accordance with its governance structure and internal policies, specifically:<ul><li>Monitor the budget, cash flow, business plan, and key performance indicators;<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Identify funding opportunities and prepare applications and funding requests;<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Ensure the preparation of financial, administrative, and impact reports;<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Prepare for Board of Directors meetings and shareholders\u2019 meetings, and follow up on decisions made;<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Prepare for and lead risk committee meetings;<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Assist in preparing microcredit applications and participate in credit committees  <\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Oversee the management of the microcredit portfolio and monitor key risk indicators;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help maintain a balance between risk management and microlux\u2019s mission of financial inclusion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your profile:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You have several years of professional experience in Luxembourg, ideally in the fields of entrepreneurship and\/or finance, and have a strong local network, particularly among Luxembourg\u2019s government agencies and public institutions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You hold a master\u2019s degree, ideally in management, finance, economics, law, social sciences, or a related field;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have proven experience in an organizational management or coordination role;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have strong skills in financial management and data analysis;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are comfortable managing partnerships and representing an organization in dealings with a variety of stakeholders;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have excellent writing skills in French and are able to prepare well-organized and persuasive reports;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have a good knowledge of French, English, and Luxembourgish.
