Arabic-Speaking Volunteer Wanted

We’re looking for an Arabic-speaking volunteer to strengthen our team of mentors!

Do you speak Arabic fluently and want to use your experience to support social and economic inclusion in Luxembourg? Join microlux’s team of volunteers and help microentrepreneurs succeed by supporting them at key stages of their entrepreneurial journey.

Your role

As a volunteer, you will support Arabic-speaking entrepreneurs both before and after they receive a microloan. Your role will be to guide and encourage them, helping them turn their ideas into viable and sustainable businesses.

Depending on each entrepreneur’s needs, you may:

• Help them develop and strengthen their business plan;
• Share your expertise in project development and entrepreneurship;
• Advise and guide them as they launch and grow their business;
• Help facilitate communication when language is a barrier.

Who we are looking for

• You are fluent in Arabic and French or English;
• You have experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Business plan development and analysis;
  • Credit or finance;
  • Business or project management and development;
  • Coaching or mentoring entrepreneurs in Luxembourg;
• You enjoy sharing your knowledge and supporting others;
• You are a good listener, open-minded, supportive and adaptable.

Time commitment

• At least four hours per month on weekdays;
• A flexible hybrid role, combining in-person and remote support depending on your availability and the entrepreneur’s needs.
